TestimonialsBill, Just wanted to drop you a note about The Claw. I just returned from Sun n Fun 2011 and had our Cirrus SR22 out on the ramp. I was parked in an area with only about 4 inches of turf over top of an old runway bed. I parked there to avoid sinking in, but that made the use of my auger-style tie-down kit pretty difficult. I bought The Claw at the airshow (based on recommendations from the line crew and other aircraft owners) and installed it just before the tornado came in on Thursday. They did their job quite well and I'm convinced The Claw is the reason I was able to fly my plane home instead of filing an insurance claim. Thanks! -Jason Miller Co-founder ForeFlight, LLC My Kitfox was held down by the Claw at Home Built Camping at SNF. An Avid in front of and a Legend Cub next to me had a competitors tie downs and they pulled out and both planes were severly damaged. My plane was the lightest plane in the area and the Claw held even in the wet sandy ground. I was screw type tie downs pulled out everywhere. Jason Miller Co-founder, ForeFlight, LLC Good morning Jim, Just wanted to thank you again for donating the Claw tiedown kit to the AOPA Sweepstakes Remos at Sun'n'Fun. We certainly did put it it to good use and anticipate we'll use it at Oshkosh and other venues. I've written a blog about it that you can find here: http://blog.aopa.org/f2fsweeps/ Best wishes, Jill Jill W.
